a. DBSeg is a 19" rack mounting unit, 7HE high;
b. Specifically designed to control both the dynamo and the engine in the test cell;
c. Inside the unit there is the control electronics;
d. On the front there is a touch operator panel that allows you to change the room settings, manage the dynamo and the engine locally or monitor the main engineering quantities of interest (forces, speed, etc..);
e. The operator panel is housed on a 19" panel, 4HE high, which can also be separated from the drawer itself and positioned, for example, on the control console;
与上位机通讯的两种方式Interfacing with the upper control system can be done in two ways:
• Interfacing by analog and digital signals, in current or voltage. This mode makes the DBSeg connectable to any type of higher automation;• Interfacing via Modbus Ethenet protocol. In the case in which the superior system is the TeCAseg, the connection is made through this second modality.
The panel shows the main controls required for the management of the dynamo and the engine in the cell (these commands are however also accessible by means of the software).功能详细描述Detail Description
Through the interface accessible from the panel it is possible to set all the data necessary to set the bench parameters, enable alarms, configure the interface channels, access the control modes, etc. The most significant setting procedure are as follows:
a. 台架总体参数设置Bench general parameters setting
In this section the bench parameters such as, for example, engine parameters, electric motor inertia, bench parameter transmission efficiency (if any), etc. All parameters can be saved in configuration files in order to be recalled at any time.
b. 报警设置Alarm setting
An important section is dedicated to defining local alarms, able to guarantee the safety of the cell operators during any operating mode. Thanks to these safety features, the well-being of the dynamo and the engine under test are also guaranteed.c. 通讯参数设置Parameter source setting
It is possible to choose how the DBSeg is interfaced to the upper level, therefore it is possible to define which commands must be taken from analog inputs (voltage or current) and which ones from ModBus Ethernet.d. 配置控制回路Control loop configuration

A section used during the tests, both in local mode (control of motor running parameters through manual commands), and in remote mode (upper automation system that sends commands to the motors interface). The monitoring page shows all the main parameters of interest: force, speed, active control mode, presence of alarms, etc. The transition from one control mode to another is possible with the running motor, using specific bump less strategies. -
